Scott Stepakoff

Scott Stepakoff
Bio:

Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Scott Stepakoff moved to Nashville after a six year tenure as lead singer of the popular rock band Turtle Grove. Soon after his arrival, Scott fell in with Chris Oglesby from Oglesby Writer Management, who has been instrumental in shaping the career of Carrie Underwood. Successful publishing deals with EMI and Sony/ATV followed, and Scott recently signed with Ten Ten Music Group as he comes into his own as a professional songwriter.

Honest, intimate, and soulful in equal measure, Scott's writing bears the stamp of influences ranging from Van Morrison, Counting Crows, and Jackson Brown to Bruce Hornsby, The Band, Ryan Adams, and Ray LaMontagne.

Since moving to town, Scott has developed writing relationships with top Nashville tunesmiths including Tommy Lee James, Barry Dean, Kelley Lovelace, Shane McAnally, Marla Cannon-Goodman, Dylan Altman, and more.
